• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

House of Creative Building (HoCB) are the owners of core solutions that comprise Amazon's exciting next generation creative advertising suite. The team is seeking a talented and passionate front end engineer to join the product development team in our Edinburgh office. You will create innovative, visually stunning and effective video advertising experiences. You will work as part of an agile team, launching and growing new initiatives for Amazon's global video advertising business. Our self-service products are accessible to those without expert video knowledge. We succeed by growing the number of advertisers that choose Amazon due to the usability and effectiveness of our products in achieving their marketing objectives. As an engineer, you can expect to be involved in every aspect of the process - from idea generation, business analysis and technical design through to development and deployment across a variety of technologies - giving you a real sense of ownership. Key job responsibilities
We believe strongly in experimentation, iterating quickly and getting feedback from our customers. As a member of this team, you'll will lead the efforts to help our advertisers increase their shopper reach by delivering on new expansion initiatives, accelerate innovation, and maximize advertiser return on investment. This involves deep understanding of the video advertising front-end architecture and technologies and the employment of cutting edge techniques. A day in the life
You will collaborate directly with product management and UX designers in discovering the correct approach to a UI implementation, guiding the discussion in your natural expertise to guide the team in the correct path to the best Customer UX that they can have. You will work directly with other developers and front end engineers to identify the best practices and implementations of solutions. You will be responsible for decision making affecting all of the teams front end designs and liaising with other teams in our organisation to build coherent and homogeneous solutions.

We are designing and building cutting edge solutions to bring fast fresh solutions including using AI tech to the video ad creative space.

• 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
