• UX/UI Software Engineer Implementation and Operation
• SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) Process Implementation and Operation
• Product Delivery Implementation and Operation
• Quality, Time & Cost Implementation and Operation

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience within UX / UI Design.

Proficiency with industry standard tools (Adobe Suite, Sketch/Figma)

Experience with Abstract/Sketch an advantage

At least one shipped/released, commercially available product

Comfortable within a macOS environment

Additional Information

The key responsibility for this role is to assist in the design process across all current and future

Midas product platforms, (most currently, our flagship Heritage HD96 mixing console).

The successful candidate will work closely with the head of the Design department to ensure that all design tasks are completed to schedule and shareholder satisfaction. They will also assist in the day-to-day management of design repositories and provide developer support if/when required.

Other important responsibilities will be:

• to create user interface designs for digital products with particular attention to detailed interactive behavior and context, enabling people to accomplish tasks as easily and elegantly as possible
• create pixel perfect user interfaces for a variety of devices dealing with details such as accessibility and usability
• to discover, understand and test user needs and make complex concepts, content and information accessible and usable through intuitive, elegant and engaging interactions.

The candidate will work collaboratively with other team members, colleagues and stakeholders to deliver world-class services, products and experiences to our clients and customers.

Main duties:

• Creation and delivery of user interface definition and specification (from inception through to final assets) to internal and external customers.
• Generation of user interface documents, generating wire frames and system flow.
• Build and iterate prototypes drawing on feedback from stakeholders/user testing.
• Creation of concept ideas for review across function. Working to create simple, consistent and stimulating user experiences in pro audio tools across a range of devices and platforms.
• Help to make the brand better, following new marketing requests.
• Support and coordinate the design team to communicate and execute design approaches, processes and timelines to stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Creative thinking and solution focussed attitude
• Extensive experience of leading Interaction (UI) designers working on mobile applications and services or comparable systems
• Experience of working alongside designers, developers and stakeholders making and shipping digital services
• Good understanding of UX principles and practices
• Ability to communicate ideas through drawing, digital tools, prototyping
• Interest in audio products

There may be project commitments where a candidate is required to spend time on site, this will be at the discretion of the project and your line manager
