JavaScript / Node.Js Developer (Front End/Full Stack)
Software Engineer (Full Stack/Front End)Permanent Full time
Remote with monthly travel to Newcastle Upon Tyne
To circa £60,000 Per Annum plus Pension & Private Medical
Jumar is expanding their thriving Software Engineering division, and we are seeking accomplished, UK based Senior Software Engineers to join due to increased customer demand in the government/public sector.

This role at Jumar is a permanent position, and all employees are required to meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).

Key Skills
- JavaScript (including Node.js, ExpressJS)
- REST
- Unit/Integration testing with Jest / Mocha / Chai
- HTML5/CSS3
- Relational or NoSQL Database experience
- CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitLab)
- SQL and no-SQL database applications such as Postgres, MySQL, and Mongo DB (and you should have used distributed version control systems such as Git)
- TypeScript
- Microservices and Event driven architecture
- Docker
- AWS
- Java (17) (including Spring Boot and Maven)
- You’ll place an emphasis on assurance automation and CI/CD principles in your approach
- Follow TDD principles to produce quality software with an emphasis on automation
- You will work in an Agile team, collaborating with Delivery Managers, Business Analysts, Test Automation Engineers, Technical Architects and other Software Engineers
- You will participate in Agile ceremonies such as refinement, estimating, planning and review sessions
