Job description
At our leading Magento agency, we're on the lookout for a talented Senior Front End / JavaScript Developer with extensive experience in developing large, scalable web applications using Magento 2. As a creative technologist, you'll have the opportunity to work with data from our sites and use a wide range of innovative approaches to extend the functionality of the Magento front end.
We're looking for someone with strong styling skills, including experience with Less, CSS, and Sass for dynamic, responsive sites. You should also have a strong understanding of JavaScript and JQuery, and a good working knowledge of Knockout.js and Require.js.
The role will require you to be proficient in OOP and functional programming, as well as asynchronous control flow, partial page updates, and AJAX. You should have a good understanding of debugging techniques, browser rendering behaviour, and performance.
Day to day tasks may include evaluating site and issues, requirements, specifications, and code, as well as analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. You'll also be responsible for developing and communicating documentation and code comments, determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming, and developing new user-facing features.
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 25 days paid holiday, health insurance, the opportunity to get globally recognised certificates, the chance to be part of an amazing global team, and a fun and collaborative working environment. Join us at our leading Magento agency and be a part of shaping the future of digital experience.
We are ideally looking for a Senior Front End / JavaScript Developer who can work onsite for two/ three days per week. However, we understand that this may not be possible for everyone, and attending sporadic meetings in London will suffice. If you have the required skills and experience and are excited about joining our leading Magento agency, we'd love to hear from you.
