Front-End Developer
Manchester (2 days in the office, 3 remote)
Full Time – Permanent

Your new role
As a Front End Developer here at Dizplai you’ll help us on our journey to make live broadcasts more interactive and user-friendly. We aim to bring the big topics and discussions to the fingertips of the nation through our state-of-the-art platform. You may have seen our work on Monday Night Football and The Martin Lewis Money Show.
In your new role, you’ll work alongside a creative team of Developers to continuously evolve and improve our products and services. The role will require the individual to have heaps of self-discipline and self-motivation as, at times, you will need to work autonomously to help achieve team goals. You will need solid knowledge of databases and the ability to embrace new frameworks and environments. You will also get to work with the latest technology to help you every step of the way.
What you will achieve in the next 12 months.
· Continue to build and develop bespoke interactive web applications.
· Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are a success.
· Using your JavaScript knowledge to maintain and build new web applications for our clients.
· Be creative and stay up to date with emerging technologies and programming trends
· Be proactive in identifying and resolving potential issues before they become incidents
About you:
· Highly skilled in web technology, with proven development experience using web frameworks.
· Ideally be proficient in Javascript and HTML/ CSS, with at least a working knowledge of Node.js / Vue.js/ React.js
· Strong analytical, programming and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to create and manage databases in a Linux environment.
· Knowledge and understanding of AWS serverless concepts and services
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proactively, independently and as a team.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
· An understanding of broadcast and streaming technologies.
