Bolton Swim School is looking for a permanent receptionist to join our team! The job is on Saturdays 12:20pm - 5:20pm at our Canon Slade School pool.
Key Tasks
- Greeting and welcoming all customers, new and regular, on arrival.
- Register swimmer's attendance.
- Develop thorough knowledge of the registers and class times.
- Help customers with enquiries such as moving lesson times and collecting certificates/badges.
- Collect card payments.
- Deliver a thorough and positive on-boarding experience for new customers.
- Successfully carry out management requests.
- Ensure our health and safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for swimmers and their parents in our pool area and changing rooms.
- Ensure all work areas are presented and managed to the highest level at all times.
Key Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - all customers should receive a positive and friendly service each time they visit us. You will also be talking to our swimming teachers regularly so helpful and friendly communication skills will be required to ensure positive team morale.
- Sound problem solving and strategic thinking skills to handle customer enquiries and complaints.
- Adaptable and flexible - When faced with obstacles, you will have the ability to react quickly. Stress will not prevent you from making the right decisions for the team and company.
- You will need to enjoy working with children - our swimmers can be 2 years old all the way up to 16 years old. You will be speaking to their parents regularly but ensuring our swimmers are happy, will be part of everyone's role at our swim school.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 5 per week
Salary: £10.00 per hour
Experience:
- receptionist: 2 years (preferred)
