Freezer Picker / Warehouse Operative Northallerton, England
Job description
We are recruiting a Freezer Picker/Warehouse Operative to join our small but rapidly expanding meat-free food production company based in Leeming Bar, North Yorkshire. Experience is not necessary, as the quality we seek most of all is a ‘can do, will do’ attitude if you are a quick learner who is happy to roll up your sleeves, get stuck into this physical role and get your hands dirty.
You will be required to:
- Work inside the Freezer (appropriate PPE is provided)
- Pick and pack orders.
- Achieve daily dispatch schedules.
- Comply with company standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all workers.
- Check goods in and out.
- Drive a forklift truck (training will be provided after qualifying period)
You will usually work between 40 and 50 hours per week (Possibly up to 60 hours in peak production periods), usually between the hours of 06:00 and 18:00. Exact start and finish times may be negotiable to meet individual and business need.
