Freelance Science Writer - Social Sciences and Humanities Remote
Job description
We require a freelance writer with expertise in Social Sciences and Humanities (e.g., archaeology, business management, philosophy, education, sociology, economics).
For each assignment, the writer will be sent several scientific papers from a particular research group. They will then be asked to write a 1200 - 1700 word accessible magazine article about the research, plus a 100–150 word biography on the principal investigator, and will be paid between £60 -£80 per assignment. We will provide examples of previous articles to demonstrate the clear and concise writing style that we are seeking. Candidates must have a flair for writing, coupled with a strong academic background in relevant subjects Candidates must be available to write approximately two articles per month.
Successful candidates will be asked to complete a brief writing task to ensure quality and accuracy before any work is offered.
