Xana Medtec is a private Healthcare company offering accessible fast and accurate blood testing services to help track health vitals for general health maintenance.
We are currently looking for a mobile/ freelance Phlebotomists to join our growing team. We offer flexible career opportunities with great health testing discounts and complementary gift vouchers on a quarterly basis.
This role will be responsible for the collection of blood samples from our patients in clinic, administer I.V vitamin infusion drips and vitamin injections across locations within Greater Manchester.
Freelance Phlebotomist role
- Take venous and capillary blood samples
- Correct sample handling and labelling
- Booking patients online
- Good standard of infection control
- Good understanding of disposing clinical waste
- Experience with administering IV vitamin infusion drips
- Experience with vitamin injections
- Travel to clinic locations within Greater Manchester
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy and I.V cannulation experience (minimum 2 years)
- Professional experience working in a healthcare setting
- Good understanding of infection control
- Hep B vaccinated (desired)
- First aid trained (desired)
- Proof of valid phlebotomy insurance
- Flexible
- Up to date qualification and training
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a DBS check
Job Types: Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months
Salary: £17,259.02-£21,321.31 per year
