Job description
A new opportunity has arisen for an IT director to join this luxury fashion retailer on a freelance basis while they recruit for the role permanently. The business is open to a candidate either on a full-time or a part-time basis.
The company is a luxury fashion retailer that is on the cusp of launching their online collection.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering the brand's technology strategy and ensuring that it is aligned with business objectives
- Overseeing all IT infrastructure including equipment, software, networks, systems and external partnerships
- Implementing technology to support all business areas, including the front-end eCommerce stack, product lifecycle management, finance and logistics
- Growing the IT team and taking ownership for team development
- Any other ad-hoc tasks needed to support the team
The successful candidate will have progressed within their career to a head of technology, head of IT, IT director or technology director role within the fashion industry, ideally within the luxury sector, and have proven experience of integrating new technology systems into a business.
