Ascender Publishing is seeking talented and creative freelance graphic designers to join our team in creating eye-catching and engaging Facebook ad thumbnails that drive traffic to our light entertainment website. As a freelance designer, you will play a crucial role by producing high-quality, click-worthy thumbnails that will be used in our Facebook advertising campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our content and marketing teams to understand the target audience and create compelling thumbnails that align with our brand's style and guidelines.
• Design a variety of fun and catchy Facebook ad thumbnails, while ensuring adherence to Facebook's ad guidelines.
• Incorporate feedback from our team to iterate and refine designs in a timely manner.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices for social media advertising, specifically Facebook ads.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in creating visually engaging social media content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with Facebook ad guidelines and specifications.
• A keen eye for current design trends, color theory, typography, and composition.
• A positive attitude and the ability to receive and apply constructive feedback.

Compensation

• We offer a competitive pay rate of £15 for a set of 5-6 high-quality thumbnails, which should take around one hour.

Schedule

• We anticipate that designers will be accessible on Slack during UK office hours to receive assignments and feedback, while having the flexibility to complete the actual work at their preferred times.
• We're looking for designers who are able to do 15+ hours per week
