Job description
Who we are
Write Business Resultsprovides revolutionary non-fiction publishing support services to business leaders from all industries and their publishers. Our award-winning services are designed to make authoring and promoting a book an easy and fun experience for successful entrepreneurs.
Using our uniquely developed Content Creation Process™, we plan, write, edit, illustrate, publish and promote high-quality business books, podcasts and blogs for business leaders who want to use their best content to:
- Own the intellectual space they’re in
- Become the expert
- Share their knowledge, experience and wisdom
- Inspire change
- Attract more right-fit clients
- Launch a new product/service
- Gain more speaking gigs
- Build a community
- Increase revenue, and
- As a powerful marketing tool to expand their personal brand
These books hold huge potential for their authors - our clients come from different backgrounds, work in different industries, have different perspectives on life and varied requirements, but what they all have in common is they are successful, driven, growth-focussed and interesting business men and women who have a strong message to share, and believe in the power of books, blogs and podcasts to deliver that message.
We are passionate about what we deliver to them - we take the stress and hassle out of creating a high-quality business book (and content marketing campaigns) by doing it all for the authors, including the writing, and managing all the moving parts. Our clients are busy, busy people who expect a reliable and efficient service, and your design work is an important and respected aspect of the finished product.
The company has ambitious growth goals for the years ahead that you’ll be an important part of… your work will be published and in the hands of thousands of people! Our growth relies heavily on client referrals, so we only work with freelancers who take pride in what they do and have a genuine love for it, and who share our values (below). You may only want to do a few books a year or you may want to own our client marketing design but those who want both could be very busy! We build long-term relationships with right-fit clients and team members and put a lot of effort into creating a culture that people are proud of and energised by.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be creating the imagery for our own and our clients’ marketing campaigns and the book covers and interiors too. Right now, the content marketing design availability is immediate and the book design will start in the summer. Your responsibilities include:

You won’t have any contact with the client, instead, the WBR account manager will act as your point of contact.
It’s important that you:
- Can manage your own workload
- Can commit to due dates for your work and open communication that your team can rely upon.
- Bring attention to detail and creative input to each project.
- Know how to take ownership of your contribution, self-manage, and naturally hold yourself accountable.
