FP&A Analyst, Sport, London, Up to £65,000, Hybrid working
We are working exclusively with a globally recognised sport media business who are looking for a qualified accountant to join their growing team as an FP&A Analyst!
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you will play a huge part in developing and upskilling the FP&A function as well as adding true value in a commercial scope.
The right candidate will have a keen interest in sport with a strategic, commercial mindset! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a broad role in a highly successful business.
The role:
- Promoting the Company Vision and standards across commercial and finance
- Supporting the Finance Manager to facilitate the smooth, efficient and productive running of the agency finances
- Responsibility for the preparation of various forecasting, accounting and reporting to support management planning and decision making
- Maintaining an in depth understanding of the financial structure, objectives and vision of the agency
- Examining and evaluating the financial health of the business, offering your recommendations
- Assisting with the preparation of group budgets, forecasts and reforecasts
- Comparing historical results against the forecasts to evaluate variance analysis and suggest improvements
- Generating weekly financial reporting, producing snapshot data when required
- Cash flow and FX planning
- Reconciling and advising on existing foreign currency trades and contracts
- Performing company and client analysis based on metrics including growth, profitability, efficiency and affordability
- Preparing reports to allow for strategic decision making within the senior management meeting
- Working alongside client services and senior management on the analysis and commercial insights required for RFI’s and client requests
- Supporting the department heads with analysis, such as utilisation and client profitability
- Working closely with the finance team to maintain and refine financial processes
- Carrying out data housekeeping of our project management system for accurate reporting
- Analysing projects to ensure rate cards and exchange rates are correct; advising where necessary
