Salary: £37,000pa (pro rata)
Actual Salary: £20,555pa Dependent upon experience
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday)
Location: Glasgow, G1 3DX or homebased with travel required.

About the role
To provide an independent source of advice, advocacy, information, support and mediation to foster carers, fostering services and the fostering community within Scotland.
To support foster carers to adopt an early intervention approach to prevent crises from occurring and placements breaking down.
About you
Are you passionate about fostering? Would you like to make a real difference to the fostering community in Scotland?
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic adviser to provide an independent source of advice, advocacy, information, support and mediation to foster carers, fostering services and the fostering community throughout Scotland.
With excellent inter-personal skills, and demonstrable experience of promoting good practice in foster care, you will use your sound understanding of current fostering practice, regulation and legislation in Scotland to provide appropriate, relevant and accurate information, advice, training and consultancy to a wide variety of audiences.
