Areas of Responsibility
Key Accountabilities
Health, Safety & Quality Compliance
- Compliance at all times with operating procedures and safe systems of working.
- Report all unsafe acts and/or conditions to your Warehouse Supervisor or HSEQ Manager at the earliest opportunity.
- Fully co-operate with all investigations.
Fork-Lift Truck Operations
- Compliance with all operating procedures and safe systems of working.
- Correctly unload product, safely put away and scan to the correct zones.
- Correct use of IRF scanning systems to ensure product movements are correctly recorded.
- Complete perpetual stock-takes to maintain accurate visibility of stock.
- When loading follow all customer instructions and accurately complete tally-sheets, recording all non-conformances and ensure product is loaded safely onto the trailer and also in the most effective manner.
Warehouse Operations
- Compliance with all operating procedures and safe systems of working.
- Maintain high standards of house-keeping within the warehouse environment.
- Re-palletise any product which is not to the correct standard.
- Monitor LPG fuel levels.
Loader Operations
- Compliance with all operating procedures and safe systems of working.
- Prepare trailers prior to loading, including completion of quality & compliance checks and ensuring all restraint systems are fit for purpose, are correctly positioned & secured.
- On completion of loading correctly secure all product using the appropriate load restraint system, curtains are closed and properly secured.
- Safely move trailers to/from the loading bay to the trailer park.
