Yard Operative/Forklift Driver
Pertemps on behalf of our large national client based in Dagenham are looking for a yard operative with a current counterbalance forklift licence to join hard working established team.
This is an ongoing position in Dagenham.

Responsibilities:
Assist with general yard duties, including manual lifting, sorting, and cleaning
Organize and maintain the yard by stacking and organizing materials in designated areas
Loading and unloading trucks and containers using the forklift.
Safely operate the counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the yard.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations and timely completion of tasks.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements:
In-date valid counterbalance forklift licence
Previous experience working in a yard environment an advantage
Must be able to commute to Dagenham RM9
Valid counterbalance forklift license.
Physical strength and stamina to handle manual tasks and lift heavy materials.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Salary & Working hours
Monday to Friday
06.00 - 15.00
£12.30 per hour
Overtime after 40 hours worked @ £18.45 per hour
Overtime Available
