Job description
The Albex Group (Kent Foods Limited) is recruiting.
We are looking for experienced Fork Lift/Warehouse Operatives at our Hunslet site in Leeds.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of warehouse duties which will include:
- picking stock;
- making up orders;
- loading and unloading of vehicles;
- general housekeeping duties within the warehouse;
- operating our fork lifts.
Experience of order picking is desirable, although we will give training to the lucky candidate. This role requires that you be physically fit as it can involve manual lifting. You should be computer literate, hardworking and prepared to adhere to Health and Safety guidelines.
The must haves are:
- Counter Balance Forklift Licence;
- flexible approach, and willingness to work as part of a team;
- able to work under pressure and without direct supervision;
- able to communicate well with colleagues;
- have experience in a similar environment.
The role is based on an average 48 hour week, and you will be expected to undertake working hours which are necessary to meet the needs of the business, which is where a flexible approach is required.
We operate a shift pattern, the shifts that we are looking to fill are:
- Monday to Friday - 04:30 till 14:30.
We offer a very competitive salary of £27,456.00 per annum, pro rata.
