Position: Forklift Driver/Yard person

Our clients responsibility is to distribute chemicals around the UK.

Role

• The role consists of working as part of a small but committed team of multi-skilled individuals to complete the work required as mentioned above.
• This will involve loading and unloading lorries and you will also be doing other yard/warehouse duties as intructed.
• Due to the nature of the hazardous chemicals we handle some of the freight can weigh upwards of 20tonne, so every employee needs to be very Health & Safety conscious.
• General housekeeping of both the warehouse and yard are also expected by the team and everyone gets involved in ensuring a high standard.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00am starts

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player with the ability to work smart and hard.

They must be willing to work outside in all weathers.

Forklift license essential counterbalance and Reach would be ideal but counterbalance would be fine.
