Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (OTE £35,000 - £40,000 ) D.O.E

My client are a UK independent leader within the materials handling industry based in the West Midlands. Due to a successful few years and the business growing from strength to strength, they are now looking to expand further and are now on the search for their next Field Service Engineer.
The right candidate will be an experienced Forklift Engineer with experience working in the industry for at least 3-4 years, and will also consider Heavy Plant Fitters. With experience working on a mixture of gas, diesel and electric trucks. My client hire and sell one of the markets leading electric brands, so if you are electrically biased then this would be advanteous.
Responsibilities:
- Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient 'can-do' attitude
- Completion of service reports for each job on a PDA system
- Reporting to the Service Manager
- Efficient time management
Ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:
- Friendly and outgoing individual
- Works well individually but is a good team player
- Experienced in FLT or Heavy Plant
- Qualified with relevant qualifications but would consider time served
- Be well-organised, methodical and process-driven
- Ability to think out of the box and adept at fault finding
- Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary between £30,000 - £35,000 D.O.E (OTE £35k - £40k )
- Overtime available and paid at 1.5 hours
