Job description
Neon Arena Services are a crewing and events company based at the NEC in Birmingham.
We are looking for new team members to work on exciting projects in the Live Events Industry. This is not your typical 9-5 job! If you are friendly, enthusiastic, physically fit and willing to get stuck in, then this could be the job for you.
What we do:
We work at the main venues in Birmingham including: Utilita Arena, Resorts World Arena, The ICC, The VOX and the NEC. Every year we are involved in thousands of events including arena concerts, sporting events, exhibitions and corporate shows.
We offer a range of services, but your main duties will include:
- Unloading lorries to set up an event
- Loading lorries when dismantling an event
- Operating a Forklift around site
- Forklifting various equipment around site
- Working on site alongside other crew members and other forklift drivers.
What we are looking for:
- You must be over 18
- You must hold a Forklift license (minimum counterbalance category B1)
- Flexible and prepared to work weekends
- Team Player
- A proactive work ethic
- Punctual and reliable
- A positive attitude
- Good Communication
