Job description
A working carpenter foreman is required for our client who specialises in high end/quality projects. Our client is looking for a hardworking/experienced carpenter foreman to join their project in Hackney, East London.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the projects from start to finish
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Read construction drawings
- Monitor progress
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including materials used, labour hours, and equipment usage
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during construction projects
- Good time management
