RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintaining daily performance expectations
· Coordinate/lead civil crew and subcontractors to ensure quality control, and meet project deadlines on time
· Maintain good employee morale, communication, and teamwork
· Complete employee timesheets for payroll, and other necessary safety or reporting documentation daily
· Understand OH&S safe work practices and procedures and ensure they are communicated and followed
· Familiarity in working around existing utilities
· Determine the priorities of work to be completed and organize employees and subcontractors to efficiently perform tasks
· Provide leadership and aid in training junior employees
· Provide feedback to supervisors and management on process improvements
· Identifying problems and innovation/team coordination
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· 3 to 5 years of experience is required in utility construction
· Experience with heavy equipment and/or small tools
· Have knowledge of OH&S and knowledge of construction disciplines (knowledge of materials and methods required)
· Attention to detail
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Excellent people skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
