Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role are assisting to the creative directors and also designing your own thoughts and idea's on a daily basis.

Duties Include
  • Co-ordinate daily communication with all suppliers.
  • Attend key style capitals for any fabric trade fairs and visit key stores and brands. To be aware of brand adjacencies and key trends.
  • To interact frequently with the factories
  • Attend fit sessions and prototype reviews
  • Identify styles that require wear testing, and co-ordinate accordingly
  • Analyse wearer trial results, formulating action points to present to the rest of the team
  • Maintain & update the sample tracker report- accuracy is critical.
  • Image research
  • Sketching and technical drawings
  • Photoshop renderings
  • To manage the execution of styles from concept to launch
  • Attend and contribute at design direction meeting , bringing newness and creative ideas to the team.
  • Specs and amendment sheets
Experience Required
  • Full Time Position based in Bolton, England.
  • Fluent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience within footwear design
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and requests
