Job description
The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Football Centre Manager must be able to work independently and with other department heads to maximise the many opportunities the facility has to offer.
9 large 5-a-side 5G football pitches and 3 full-size 3G, 4G, and 5G football pitches with a further 2 full-size 5G football pitches under development. In addition, the site has a number of grass pitches and a Stadium.
Responsibilities:
- The organisation of all football pitch bookings.
- Speaking with customers on a regular basis and helping with any queries.
- Ensuring the pitches, goals, nets, fencing, and surrounding areas are always pristine.
- Marketing and promotion of the Football Pitch Centre.
- Liaising with other departments to accommodate film shoots and events.
- Creating and running football tournaments.
- Working with the Foundation to run community activities.
- Support our grass-roots Affiliate Programme and Community Schools Programme.
Experience:
- Experienced in football and or leisure.
- An excellent communicator.
- Computer literate.
- Well organised.
- Smartly presented.
- Attention to detail.
JOB TYPE: Full-time.
SALARY: £50k per annum OTE (includes £35k basic).
SCHEDULE: 5 days per week (including Saturday and Sunday) plus match or event days.
45 HOURS PER WEEK: 1 pm – 11 pm midweek or 8 am – 6 pm weekends including a 1-hour break.
ANNUAL LEAVE: 28 days (includes bank holidays).
COMMUTE: Must live within a 1-hour commutable distance from the HA8 postcode.
