Having supplied many restaurants, retailers, and other food service groups since 1989, we are renowned for our innovative, pragmatic, and creative approach to food solutions.
Rondanini are currently looking for a Food Technologist to manage the day-to-day tasks of the department, as well as technical ownership over smaller accounts in the Rondanini Portfolio.
Our Technical team aim to challenge the contemporary and implement efficient processes in delivering quality, but nothing is more paramount than our commitment to food safety.
Our technical department support innovation whilst ensuring compliance with our customer standards as well as legislative and regulatory, hence our A/AA BRC accreditations.
Versatility is the essence of the technical department; we need versatility in uncomplicating complexities by being robust in our knowledge and practices, to implement more streamlined and efficient policies and procedures, reflective of an ever-changing world.
We identify and analyse gaps in standards whilst working cross functionally with an array of customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.

What will you be doing?
· Co-ordinate and assist with managing launches for all customers
· Technical lead on the smaller accounts within the Rondanini portfolio.
· Write and approve retailer and supplier specifications.
· Manage the customer complaints process end to end for the technical department, and work with the wider team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
· Ensure compliance with retail customer standards
· Liaising with suppliers and customers for technical data
· Provide technical support and cover to subsidiary companies, as required.
· Cover for technical managers during periods of absence.
· Assist with customer product launches.
· Assess HACCP plan and the quality management system to ensure compliance.
· Ensure compliance with BRC.
· Manage the artwork process/sign off.
· Carry out internal audit of Group Sites.
· Manage temperature checks and record keeping.
· Keep informed of food safety laws and regulations.
· Attend conferences related to retail and legislation updates.
What are we looking for?
· HACCP Trained– Essential
· Food Hygiene level 2 – Essential
· Audit experience – Desirable
· Retailer System knowledge – Desirable
