The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of Food & Nutrition lessons through practical, administrative and classroom support. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an organised and positive approach to encourage students learning.This crucial and very popular element of our curriculum enables pupils to learn about healthy eating and practical food preparation. We are seeking to appoint a friendly and capable Food Technician to support classroom teachers by preparing, organising and maintaining the equipment and the learning environment, managing the ordering and receipt of ingredients and materials and assisting pupils during practical activities.The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate high professional and personal standards at all times and have a willingness to learn new skills and to undertake further professional development.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent interpersonal skills to join a friendly, diverse and inclusive staff team.
