Overview of role
Location: Maidenhead
We have an excellent opportunity for a developing Technical professional to join our team as the Food Technical Assurance Assistant at Maidenhead. This is a Hybrid role covering maternity leave on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Accountabilities
The Role:
The role is broad and will support the Technical Assurance team with a variety of technical and administrative responsibilities, including document preparation for our products, assisting in checking artwork (branded and own label), collating packaging and sustainability data, carrying out internal audits on technical information and maintaining business-critical documents on our Technical Portal. This role also maintains technical databases such as Erudus and Brandbank.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking to recruit a diligent and enthusiastic team member to join our Technical Assurance Team.
You will be keen to learn and participate in all aspects of food composition, testing and environmental/sustainability data gathering.
This is a hybrid role combined with working at our Head Office in Maidenhead and from home (2/3 days per week from the office).

The Right Person
Skills, qualifications and experience:
- GCSE (A* - C) in Maths and English.
- Good A-level results in at least one science subject and Maths.
- Preferably a Food Science graduate.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good understanding and competency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Competent in the manipulation of data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good team worker, able to work on their initiative when required.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

- Salary, £26-28k per annum, dependent on experience
