At Harrods we currently house more celebrity chefs and exclusive dining brands than any other location in the UK, and right now we are looking for an exceptional Food Store Clerk to join our team in creating the magical experience that is Harrods. You will be joining a passionate, supportive, and successful brigade, all within our iconic Knightsbridge store.
About the Role
As a Food Store Clerk you’ll be responsible for supervision of receipt, issue, and storage of food items. You’ll ensure all deliveries are accurately dispatched to the relevant site, and work towards agreed timescales. You’ll be responsible for receiving all product for the store, inspecting it for quality, quantity and safety, whilst maintaining courteous relationships with drivers, suppliers, and team members. Maintaining impeccable cleaning in all fridges according to Food and Health Safety regulations standards will be part of your activities as well. This role will also involve heavy lifting and exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals.
About You
You will require a strong eye for detail, being able to maintain hygiene and exceptional quality and standards. You will have good initiative, being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adjust to the constant demands, whilst being able to act upon instructions and established uniform procedures related to duties and responsibilities. You will have strong communication skills, maintaining courteous relationships with drivers, suppliers, and team members.

- Set contracted hours: Full time role, 40 hours, 5 days a week – paid additional working hours at an overtime rate of 1.5 p/h
