We are looking for part time kitchen assistant/ Cleaner to work daily from 10am until 5pm (Hours may vary), to join our Smart Start Childcare family! Kitchen Assistant duties and responsibilities
Kitchen Assistants perform a range of duties around the kitchen, including:
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
- Cleaning around the nursery
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
