Job description
FUNCTION:
To work in a safe, efficient and hygienic fashion while ensuring that the high quality food standards of the restaurant are maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Anticipate and attend to the guest’s needs and desires immediately.
· Work in the kitchen as directed on a daily basis.
· Ensure that your work is carried out in a timely and efficient fashion.
· Minimise wastage at all times.
· Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
· Ensure that the established standard operating procedures are followed at all times.
· Help produce an environment of learning and professionalism.
· Carry out any other related duties as directed by the senior members of the kitchen staff.
· Maintain your self appearance in accordance with the grooming standards.
· Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
· Maintain an acceptable degree of knowledge with regard to food products.
· Comply with all of the established operational policies & procedures.
YOU ARE:
- Hard working, enthusiastic with a “can do” attitude
- Passionate about pizza and hospitality.
- The ideal candidate will have some experience you will work with a professional team and get plenty of support and training for all the activities of the kitchen.
- Any experience with Italian ingredients and fresh produce would be appreciated
- Some knowledge of the Italian language would be an added benefit.
