Proud has some of the UK’s grandest and most spectacular cabaret venues offering unique arenas to host private parties all year round. Recently renovated to increase capacity and distance between diners, these spacious, versatile venues in iconic, historic buildings have a decadent feel.
Our fabulous Cabaret venue in Kemptown, Brighton is looking for a food runner. Training will be provided. Your role will mainly involve running food from our kitchen on the 2nd floor to the ground floor ballroom. This is a physically demanding role due to the location of the kitchen.
We currently open for two cabaret evenings and two bottomless brunch services from Friday-Sunday. However, we also host a range of private events.
Due to the nature of the business, you will be required to work long weekend shifts. The majority of our staff work long hours in the weekend and enjoy the weekdays off.
Holiday pay is paid on a rolling basis which will top up your pay to a total of around £11.80-£12.00ph.
A free hot meal is provided on every shift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance to food health & safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas throughout shift.
- Delivering food from the kitchen to tables.
- Ensure allergy dishes are delivered correctly.
- Knowledge of the menu and allergens present in each dish.
- Polishing glassware and cutlery.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-32 per week
Salary: £10.70 per hour
