We are looking for enthusiastic food production operatives to expand our growing High Care team, to help produce and pack our products ready for delivery.The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role, previous food industry experience is essential.There are two shifts, 7am start and 11am start, Monday to Friday.You will have a good work ethic and be a reliable individual. This is a role that involves standing on your feet for much of the day, moving ingredients and equipment around during production, so you will need to have a good level of fitness.Main duties include (but are not limited to):Working within production, preparing, making, finishing or packing our products.Follow start up and close down procedures, and maintaining a clean working environment throughout the day.Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality and quality are adhered to.You must beResourceful and adaptableFlexibleAble to communicate easily with all other staff and able to understand the company written records and documents.Able to carry out the tasks that would be reasonably required.Minimum one year's food industry experience.Comfortable with handling, preparing and baking of food which involves long periods of standing, lifting and carrying as well as other tasks such as cleaning.Able to provide supporting references.Job Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: From £10.42 per hourBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Barrow upon Soar LE12 8LD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Food industry: 1 year (required)Language:English (required)Work Location: In person
