Food Production Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for another team member in our food production facility in Brighouse. This is a key growth area for our business, manufacturing gluten free products, so if you have an aptitude for practical work and a positive work ethic, please read on!
We need you to work alongside our Production Manager in all aspects of production, carrying out all tasks to ensure business requirements are met, following our production procedures to the required standards.
Full training will be given.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the packing of all our food products
- Operate machinery and equipment as required, according to training
- Follow general manufacturing procedures and hygiene procedures at all times
- Assist with the achievement of production targets
- Work in a safe manner at all times
- Report any quality or health and safety issues to the management team
- Work as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and management
- Work across departments as you are needed, inc use of forklift (training provided)
- With training, will deputise for the production manager
What we are looking for:
- A positive work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude
- Attention to detail
- A track record of practical skills & experience
- Sound general education
- A reliable, enthusiastic team player
- Good communication skills
- Experience within a production environment is an advantage but no means essential

- Starting hourly rate from £10.50 to £11.50 depending on experience
