About the Role: Do you want to earn a minimum of 10.50 per hour? We’re looking for a Production Operative to join our team at our site in Newent TEMPORARY ROLE Transport available from Gloucester and Cinderford direct to Avara Foods, for just £1.25 a ride. So you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical. Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch. Labelling, packing and grading of products Manual handling which may include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg Carry out all duties in line with bird welfare, food safety and HSE guidelines What are we looking for? Good level of English and basic numeracy skills The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided Due to Bird Welfare, it is essential that you do not own any Avian Pets or Poultry.
