Job Purpose
The role of the Hygiene Skilled Operative is integral to the smooth running of the Hygiene function at Matthew Walker. The department provides a vital service by maintaining the Company’s hygiene standards through its cleaning schedules. To carry out all tasks delegated by section leader to the highest standards and to help install confidence in both technical, production and Matthew Walker customers.
Key Accountabilities
· Ensure enough chemical is in place and if not ask T/L to order IBC full and exchanged (Liaise with warehouse)
· Work in a safe manner – reporting and unsafe conditions to T/L
· Complete any paperwork required in the correct manner – report and issues to the T/L
· Report faults or damage of equipment to engineers and then T/L
· Be flexible to cover weekend Allergen cleaning and/or customer audit requirements
· Deliver a standard of finished clean as expected by the business
· Work as part of a small team.
Key Tasks
· Be able to dismantle equipment.
· Be able to carry out cleans and deep cleans
· Be able to re-assemble equipment.
The role includes a 25% shift allowance.

Salary: From £10.86 per hour
