Food Preparation Assistants - Ref: RT00023
Salary G3 £10.98 - £11.38 per hour
We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable individuals to assist in the production and delivery of school meals. The successful candidates will undertake general kitchen duties including the cleaning of associated equipment. In return, we offer excellent pay rate, uniform and access to training.
Food Preparation Assistants are valued members of our teams and are needed in our schools and Council buildings.
We have vacancies for a Food Preparation Assistants at the following premises:
Salisbury Primary School
Hours per week: 7.30 (38 weeks per year)
Times: 12.30pm - 2.00pm
Pinfold Street Primary School
Hours per week: 12.30 (38 weeks per year)
Times: 11.30am – 2.00pm
Alumwell Infant School
Hours per week: 10 (38 weeks per year)
Times: 12.00pm – 2.00pm
- Please note that work hours are indicative of the requirements of the post. Start and end times may vary (within the hours stated) dependant on the needs of the service.
Successful applicants will hold or train for the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate.
This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
