We have an exciting opportunity within our Production Team, that plays an important role in helping to ensure our meals are packaged safely for children. No experience is necessary as training will be provided.
· Based in Basildon
· 40 hours per week
· Packing our finished meals and snacks, ready for dispatch to nursery schools
· Ensuring packed products meet required standards e.g., weight, label, appearance
· Understanding our strict food safety guidelines and ensuring these are followed
· Maintaining our high-quality standards with every task
· Preparation of intermediate ingredients following recipes
· General and deep cleaning to ensure our work environment remains hygienic and safe
· Assisting Chefs in the kitchen with cooking process
About you
- No previous experience in a production kitchen is necessary as full training will be provided.
- You will need basic cooking skills.
- You must be able to work in a low temperature environment.
- Attention to detail is key; we need a team that can perform tasks with a high level of accuracy.
- A commitment to producing high quality food following strict regulations is essential.
- You must be self-motivated, able to work independently and have a desire to continually learn and develop.
- You must have a good level of written and spoken English and good numeracy skills.
- Help make our team brilliant! You must be a team player with a can-do attitude.
