All About Desserts are recruiting packing operatives for our dessert production unit located in Barrow upon Soar, outside of Loughborough. We have a number of opportunities for the right candidates, an immediate start is available.

Applicants will need to have:

• Experience of working within a food manufacturing or food production role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Specific training will be provided.
• Willing to show initiative and make decisions independently, as well as working within a team.
• Attention to detail and confidence to raise issues if required.
• Good level of fitness as the roles involve standing for the duration of the shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Duties include:

• Finishing products and packing them as needed.
• Making up boxes, flow wrapping products, lidding pots, applying labels.
• Quality control during packing and boxing process, completing appropriate paperwork accurately.
• Assisting production team with prep.
• Traying up for the production team.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining a clean working environment, and cleaning down at the end of each day.

7am start, working Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £9.50 per hour
