We have an exciting opportunity to join our Ready to Eat (RTE) team, who make our world class pappadum’s, in a role responsible for packing and processing finished goods. This role is on a continental 6pm-6am shift pattern.

What's the role about?

Reporting to the Team Leader, the role is primarily based within the packing end of production. You will be responsible for running various pieces of packing machinery and processing the finished goods, ready for dispatch.

All tasks must be completed in a manner to achieve the safe, hygienic, efficient and best-cost manufacture of all designated products to the required quality, specification and quantity.

• Demonstrate flexibility in line with Business Requirements
• Be organised, conscientious and be confident in ability to operate machinery
• Be able handle a high level of responsibility, remaining calm and focused under pressure
• Have basic food hygiene trained in-house
• Have an awareness and understand of all CCP’s for the Line
• Have a high level of numeracy and literacy – demonstrate accuracy in paperwork and in calculations.
• Have good Communication skills – working collaboratively with operatives and the Team Leader
• Have excellent awareness of Health and Safety
• Have an excellent timekeeping and attendance record
