Job description
In our busy food processing plant, Food Machine Operative (Nights) work on our hot & cold Production, Processing and Packaging lines, ensuring our products are produced to the highest quality.
Skills needed:
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail (e.g. follow the oven schedule and cooking instructions for each product and promptly record information required).
- Be responsible for loading the ovens with the appropriate product, monitoring cook times and temperatures.
- Have patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Have the ability to work on your own and be able to problem solve.
- Known knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
- Have the ability to work well with others within and across other team(s)
- Have physical skills like movement, coordination and dexterity
- You don’t need any formal qualifications to pursue this job role, but we do value individuals who have basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Shifts available: 6pm – 4am Monday to Friday
Closing date: 12/04/2023
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary & Benefits: £10.20 per hour between 06:00 to 19:00 and £13.26 per hour from 19:00 to 06:00. 28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank/public holidays), pro rata for incomplete years of service.
