JOB TITLE: Full-Time Factory Hygiene Operative ( 2 - 10 pm)
THIS IS IN A FACTORY ENVIRONMENT NOT AN OFFICE.
DEPARTMENT: Quality Assurance Team
The overall purpose of the job:
Working as part of a team, responsible for the cleaning of the production and packing areas of the factory to the highest of standards.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS:
· Ensure effective detail cleaning, including stripping down of equipment for all specific areas of the factory in accordance with company hygiene procedures.
· To ensure that all daily routine cleaning is effectively carried out to a high standard.
· To ensure that all deep cleaning and periodic cleaning activities are effectively carried out to a high standard.
· To clean production areas, baskets, and other equipment using the correct cleaning materials.
· To clean all floor areas, walls and wall-floor junctions, internal factory periphery, communal areas, and facilities, changing areas - to ensure that all areas are litter and waste-free.
· To ensure that all cleaning is completed in a timely manner to provide production with clean equipment as required to fulfill customer orders.
· To handle and control waste in the correct manner as per the company procedure on waste disposal.
· Use the specified cleaning materials and chemicals safely, using the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring compliance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
