As Distinct Group Ltd and The Bedford Swan Hotel continue to develop and expand, there couldn’t be a more exciting time to join the team as Food and Beverage Manager.
With Pen & Cob, our British Brasserie (100 covers) and it’s year-round covered terrace area seating (100 covers), Anna’s tearoom serving afternoon teas daily and a busy banqueting and events department (events ranging from 2 to 120 people), the Swan already has a busy food and beverage offer and a strong team in place to run the different sections. We are looking for someone in a Food and Beverage Manager to mentor and lead the team, helping to improve its efficiency. Working with the team, managing budgets, stock, labour and recruitment/retention as well as having an overall view of the department and planning for the weeks and months ahead.
The perfect candidate for the Food and Beverage Manager position will be organised, passionate about great food, drink and customer service, used to planning to budgets and a great people motivator and mentor. You should have experience running a fast paced, and complex, food and beverage operation and be confident and effective at leading a large team of people.
