JOB SUMMARY
To prepare F&B areas by laying/clearing tables. To serve food and beverages, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and service.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience:
Previous experience of food service in a similar style of operation preferred but not essential
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Pro-active and reliable
- Able to work alone and within a team
- Flexible hours in line with business needs
- Must be well presented and have excellent personal hygiene
Education or Certification
- Good level of English essential
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificated
SPECIFIC DUTIES
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:
- To ensure that you have a full product knowledge of all menu items and their service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- To maintain a high standard of service within conference events at all times as laid down within the company service standards.
- To promote sales and achieve maximum sales potential for both food and beverages.
- Clear and lay tables throughout and after service. Ensure that the still room and service areas are clean and tidy at all times.
- Deal with customer queries and try to resolve immediately. Making full use of the Guest Response procedures.
- To communicate with others in the department to ensure excellent customer relations.
- To ensure that service to the guests is of a prompt and efficient manner in line with company standards.
- To play an active part in the Marriott International training and culture of the company
- To adhere to the Marriott Uniform Standards at all times
- Follow all Health & Safety Procedures
- All Marriott Policies on Cash, Key and all Controls are adhered to and followed consistently.
OTHER
- Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.
- Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures.
- Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than your contracted hours.
