About the role:

These roles span a variety of our on-campus outlets which provide catering to students, staff and external customers throughout the academic year and during the summer months. You can find out more about our outlets here: https://www.bath.ac.uk/professional-services/food-and-drink/

You will ensure that day to day operations are smooth and that customers are provided with a high standard of service at all times.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking customer orders
  • Serving food and drink
  • Working on the tills
  • Stocking food stations
  • Assisting with cleaning tables and catering areas

These roles include early morning, evening and weekend working either full time (36.5 hours per week) or part time (25 hours). The weekly shift pattern consists of straight shifts only - no split shifts!

This role is eligible for the Campus Services New Starter bonus*. Apply today and if you are appointed, receive an additional £500 one month after starting and £500 on successfully passing your probation period (six months). Please note this bonus is pro rata for part time roles.

About you:

Our ideal candidates will be:

  • A good team worker
  • Experienced in providing an excellent standard of customer service in a customer focussed environment
  • Calm and professional in high pressure situations as it can be extremely busy during peak times

Experience within the Hospitality industry is not essential, we’re more interested in your personality.
