Role: Food & Beverage Assistant

Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Salary: Up to £10 per hour, to be discussed at interview

Hours: Full & Part Time available, including weekends & bank holidays.

Relationships: General Manager, Kitchen team, Food & Beverage team


We are looking to expand our Food and Beverage Assistants in The Dining Room and are offering full and part time hours.

The ideal candidate

  • Being a 'multi-skilled' individual who has previous food and beverage experience (bar/restaurant/reception) - minimum x1 year
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered consistently
  • Knowledge of Simphony/Oracle software is advantageous
  • Ability to effectively interact with management, team members and guests in a professional manner
  • Be a team player as well as an individual worker
  • Due to location and shifts, transport is essential
  • To provide attentive service during the meal and watch for special requests.
  • To assist in the general cleaning of your working areas.
  • To take every opportunity to upsell – desserts, starters, drinks etc.
  • To attend work consistently well groomed, in uniform
  • Be willing to attend training and gain an understanding of the menu to be able to offer guidance and recommendations to guests
