The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at the IHUB in Derby. The successful candidate will be required to ensure that the highest standard of food quality, presentation and service are achieved and maintained at all times.
We are looking for a candidate that shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a Food Service Assistant you will support the team in basic food preparation and provide an excellent food service to all.
This is a full time role on a 40 hour week with all shifts during the daytime.
Shift times will be generally be Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. You may be required to work occasional weekends and the hours could change due to the business demands.
Job Responsibilities
- Some light food preparation
- Serving of food and drinks
- Working on tills during service (full training will be provided)
- General cleaning duties within the kitchen and outer areas
- Moving of furniture
- Ensuring health and safety compliance is met
- Providing a friendly and polite customer service for all
Key Requirements
- Previous catering or hospitality experience
- Must have a driving licence
- You have worked as part of a team before in a fast paced environment
- Food hygiene level 2 is preferred (but not essential as full training will be given)
- Must have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £9.50 per hour
