Culinary experiences are an essential element of our member experiences and offers our food beverage team a range of service styles and environments across various locations.

We offer a range of dining options such as our outdoor Kitchen at The Grouse House with its spectacular views across the golf course to the castle where we slow roast brisket and bubble smokey bbq beans over the firepit and endless toppings on pizza straight from the woodfired oven.

Our Wild Kitchen experience is located right on the river bank of the Tay and enables us to showcase local quality ingredients for our members to cook themselves over charcoals at their table. Pairing the experience with some fantastic cocktails and wines encapsulates everything that is unique about our club.

The Laird’s Hall offers a truly Scottish experience from start to finish with baronial style feasting and will offer produce from the Glenlyon Estate itself such as game, eggs, fruits and berries the estate services up.

The choice of food outlets will increase again with the opening of the castle offering a Tavern, fine dining hall, champagne and caviar room, whisky bar, and Chinese drawing room. Each with a distinct characteristics and exceptional service.

Key requirements:

  • Product knowledge is a key driver of guest experience. We would expect you to learn and be able to present extensive knowledge of our menu items, ingredients, preparations, and specials; making recommendations based upon preferences, special requests, or allergies.
  • Have a thorough understanding of all our cocktails, wine, beer and beverages available, and learn to pair the wines with the menu items.
  • Greet all guests and members politely and promptly, proactively anticipate needs to enhance experience and demonstrate sense of urgency in responding to member requirements during all interactions.
  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members, guests and colleagues
  • Always maintain cleanliness and the organisation of work areas, complete daily stocking and opening / closing procedures, and adhere to food safety standards.

What we require:

  • You will have at least one year of previous serving experience in a full service environment, preferably at a fast paced, high end restaurant, private club, or resort.
  • Knowledge of HACCP Food Hygiene standards
  • We would prefer if you were over 18 years to be able to serve alcohol.
  • A good basic knowledge of wines and beverages
  • Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends.
