If so, then join our Catering team at Carisbrooke Castle and play your part in helping visitors experience more of England's captivating past and preserve it for generations to come.
Carisbrooke has been a central place of power and defence on the Isle of Wight for over 1,000 years. Sitting high and proud at the heart of the Isle of Wight, it has been an artillery fortress, king's prison and a royal summer residence.
Today the site welcomes c.120,000 visitors a year to see where Charles I was held prisoner, watch the famous Carisbrooke donkeys work the 16th-century tread, take in the panoramic views of the island, and enjoy the tranquil Princess Beatrice garden. There is a shop, cafe, holiday cottage and the site also host a popular programme of events.
Our cafes provide the social hub of this historic site and you will play a vital part in creating a warm and welcoming environment where our visitors can relax and enjoy high quality food. Whether you are serving coffee at the counter, cleaning down tables or preparing orders in the kitchen, this is an environment that will keep you busy and engaged.
