Job description
Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre is the exciting centre of recreation offered at Coed y Brenin Forest Park, it attracts people from all over the country from walkers to the more extreme mountain bikers to those who just want a family day out. This is a new and exciting role, making sure that customers are happy and that the café is at the heart of their satisfaction by providing great service through interaction on social media and in person. You will be supporting the catering supervisor to provide a continually improving customer service environment, ensuring that all staff are working to our health, safety and food safety standards whilst being responsible for day to day running of the kitchen which includes cooking.
Knowledge and experience of the following:
You will be able to demonstrate experience in relation to the requirements of the role so that you will be equipped to supervise others.
You should have competent IT skills and be familiar in the use of databases, Microsoft Office and other related software packages e.g. GIS. You will have good literacy, numeracy and communications skills with the ability to interact with a range of people.
You will have a reasonable understanding of health and safety in relation to your discipline and area of work enabling you to manage health and safety issues and to manage risk.
You will have undertaken the relevant statutory training certificates and/or licences or willing/able to gain these with training.
