- Have completed an apprenticeship in the hotel trade and/or have professional experience in the hotel/catering industry or be looking for a change of career
- Enjoy developing employees – and ideally have some management experience
- Be open and communicative and have hosting skills, as well as a passion for the hotel industry
- Be flexible and creative and have an excellent sense of quality, even in stressful situations
- Be a team player and willing to provide assistance across departments – we achieve our results together
Features of the job
Thanks to your hosting skills, our guests will enjoy their stay. As well as coordinating and managing the bar and breakfast teams, in conjunction with the department manager, your duties will also include:
- Shared responsibility for achieving the Motel One Lounge sales budget
- Providing a seamless, rapid service and implementing the Motel One breakfast concept, ‘One Smile’
- Shared responsibility for conducting internal coaching and cross-training, as well as organising development training courses for service staff
- Ordering food, beverages and spirits and carrying out stock takes at the end of the month
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.82 per hour
